The National Olympiad in Informatics Philippines On-Site Finals Round was held last Saturday, 5 July 2014. The top ten competitors of the national elimination round at the Kalibrr Headquarters. Aldrich Asuncion from Ateneo de Manila High School and Miguel Lorenzo Ildesa from Philippine Science High school were the only contestants to completely solve C: xoxo. With this, both of them snagged first and second place during the NOI.PH National Finals.
The rest of the participants, including the two aforementioned ones, solved G: On pamelas and pomelos. Among the eight of them, Robin Yu of Xavier School was the first one to submit a working solution, sending it within the first ten minutes of the competition.
Unsolved Problems for NOI.PH 2014 National Finals
Eight of the problems in the set, although attempted by the contestants, remained unsolved for the duration of the contest. They are as follows:
