The NOI.PH organizing committee is a group of programmers and educators committed to uplifting the quality of informatics and programming education in the Philippines by encouraging the students’ participation at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). The IOI is participated by over three hundred high school students from across the globe, and is considered the most prestigious programming contest of its kind. To this end, we reached out to the IOI in 2014 in order for the Philippines to be allowed to participate in the event. We also organized the National Olympiad in Informatics Philippines (NOI-PH), the official Philippine qualifier for the IOI, endorsed also by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). Each year, the qualifiers from all over the country undergo a series of trainings designed and conducted by us. At the end of the contest, the top four students are selected as the Philippine’s representatives to the IOI. Last year, the second Philippine delegation to the IOI brought home the country’s second IOI medal!

In this light, if you or your company would like to help in our pursuit in contributing to the country’s next batch of excellent programmers and computer scientists, do not hesitate to contact us via [email protected]. We believe that your commitment to excellence and the improvement of the industry makes you a likely candidate to champion our cause.
